Violin Instructor/ Viola Instructor
Shadow (he/him) began his formal musical training via the Suzuki Violin Method at age 5 and eventually picked up viola as a teen. He studied with Karen Ritscher at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and with Ferenc Czesko at the University of Idaho.
Classically, Shadow has served as Principal Violist of the Washington Idaho Symphony and has played with the Walla Walla Symphony, Cascadia Composers, Classical Revolution PDX, ARCO PDX and Cult of Orpheus. He can be found as a guest musician on a variety of of indie records, and released his first solo single in 2022.
He has been teaching violin and viola for over ten years. Shadow also teaches beginning theory and composition.
Shadow shares housing with his excellent cat, Sonnet Aurelia Baudelaire.
